But the resources of our planet are not endless and we need to be mindful of their usage. The Cradle to Cradle approach tackles this issue to lead us to a sustainable, circular economy. All ingredients used in the production are kept in an endless life cycle, never touching the bin. This means no waste. All ingredients are considered as nutrients for the planet and will be reused after their lifespan as fashion pieces comes to an end. Each design is developed with the intention to bring the ingredients back to the cycle. Instead of generating waste, we simply borrow materials for the lifetime of your product. After the products' life cycle with the customer comes to an end, we will return the items to an industrial composting station, and those smart ingredients will close the loop and begin a new life as nutrients for our planet, such as humus and bio gas. Technical Cycle The customer buys our product, wears it and brings it back to the store when time comes to dispose of it. When the customer returns one of these items to our store, the materials used for the technical cycle will be depolymerised. The yarn, now consisting of mono components, will simply be processed into new yarn again. This means the existing yarn can be produced into a new yarn without any loss in quality and therefore kept in an endless cycle, never creating any waste.
